| | It was a cold and rainy day. The first 8 miles it was cloudy and cold, but no rain. I started the run my second favorite running shoes, Saucony. My feet began to feel fatigued, so I went ahead and changed into my favorite running shoes, the Hoka Clifton. Wow, what a comparative difference! At this point it was drizzly, and at times a light rain. I had a rain jacket, my tights, long-sleeved shirt, cap and gloves. I was determined to finish this 19-mile run. My feet got a little wet, but not soaked, so it was okay. My husband stayed with me in his track, and provided dry gloves for me when I needed them. He's the absolute best!
